Volleyball
I have always loved volleyball. I’m having so much fun traveling with Emily to Calvary’s games. As a bonus, Emily and I were invited to help with Trinity’s volleyball tournament. After an early morning of work, we went to the school and settled in for a few hours of junior-high volleyball.
Along the way, I got hit in the head. Gave points to the wrong team. Ate a few hot dogs and stale popcorn. And rooted on our team to a first-place finish.
We also went to church because Nicholas was acolyting for the first time. He and his friend Bradley looked so grown up. We had a guest pastor from the Lutheran Blind Mission. Not only was the sermon interesting, but watching him maneuver around the obstacles on the altar was neat.
Today was spent recuperating from long hours without sleep and not enough food. It’s going to be a long week.
