When names change
So it’s no longer Influenza A or B or even the Swine Flu or H1N1. It’s now “The Flu”. It’s interesting to see the switch in everyone’s vocabulary when something is so prevalent in their lives. There have been several confirmed cases at Trinity. So far, it seems to have escaped us. The kids have managed just chest colds at this point. The kids are both back in school.
I had a very pleasant conversation with one of Emily’s classmates last night. It was so nice to get to know her a little better outside of school.
Mid-quarter grades came out for Nicholas this past week. What a difference a summer makes! I’m not sure what change happened or even when it happened, but I’m glad it did. His grades are awesome! He’ll restart piano lessons hopefully next week.
I have no new layouts to share. I’m kind of on a scrapping hiatus at the moment. Not for lack of pictures or even kits. I just feel the need for a small break.
