Glasses and Heits Point
Well, first Heits Point. The 7th grade has a retreat every year. For recession purposes they decided to make it one day at Heits Point. A service project in the morning and team building in the afternoon, finished off with a campfire. Well, Nicholas made it through the service project before getting sick enough to go home. (As of this writing six more 7th graders have fallen ill.)
Emily also has new glasses. She was 20/30 the last time she was checked. We decided to not get glasses at that time since she told me she could see okay. It has since gotten worse. She tried on Nicholas’ glasses and could see. She wore those until hers arrived. (Yes, the eye doctor knew and yes, he said it was okay.) We went to WalHell to get her glasses. I am pleased with the end result and they only cost $40.
