Quickie
So I may as well let everyone know what happened today. When most of you read this, you will probably shake your head and say “What in the world was she thinking?!?! She had to know Dj was going to do that!”
I got to work at 7:45 this morning. Spent 30 minutes doing work, then made a personal phone call because Nicholas was sick and needed a doctor’s appointment. I went and told my boss Nicholas had an appt. and I would be gone for about an hour then went back to my office to work. I made a few work phone calls and then I see my boss standing in the doorway. She says, “you have done nothing but make personal phone calls since you’ve been here. If you aren’t going to work, you should probably go home and take care of things.”
I told her I couldn’t afford to lose that many hours. She said but you haven’t worked since you’ve been here, you should probably go home.
Anyone care to guess which I chose – job or family?
So here I am again, unemployed. I am really not in a good frame of mind. I seriously see everything falling apart around me and feel like I have absolutely nowhere to go.

Wow! I believe you chose correctly even if right now it may not seem like it. God wasn’t surprised by this. He knows what’s around the corner even when we don’t.
