I’ll do a knitting update.
I am in the Loopy Ewe Sock Club again this year. I’m real excited for the yarn she has planned, since one of them will be Wollmeise. I’ve heard great things.
I will also be attending the Loopy Ewe Spring Fling. All my non-knitting friends think I have seriously lost my mind to spend the money to do nothing but sit in a hotel and knit all weekend. They seriously don’t get it.
I have more than my fair share of projects on the needles but only two are currently holding my attention. I am knitting a Baby Surprise Jacket with Amy. I’m using Regia Canadiana in a discontinued colorway. I’m currently on row 20.
Amy was kind enough to send me a skein of Socks That Rock for Christmas. I now understand all the hype about this yarn. It is wonderful. I plan on buying more. The yarn originally told me it wanted to be a Bear Claw Scarfette, but then changed it’s mind (as yarn is wont to do) and wanted to be Twin Rib Fingerless Mitts. It’s much happier as mitts.
