Computer fits
Scott’s birthday was uneventful. He wants to make a big deal out of everyone else’s day but not his. I actually got him a present but couldn’t really tell if he liked it or not. I couldn’t go wrong – it was a Beanie Baby. I can hear your shout of disbelief now – yes, my husband collects the Beanie Babies, not me. Unless it’s the cow ones.
The heat wave has subsided, now we have muggy. It’s been raining for a few days.
School’s going great for both the kids. They love it. We’re having some issues here and there, but I’m sure they’ll get ironed out. The one thing that’s an issue right now is the school’s involvement in medical care. They want me to report to them when I’ve made Emily’s eye appointment. HA! I don’t think so. It may be their business that she doesn’t see well, but it’s not their business when I take care of it.
I’m back on track, for the hundredth time, with Weight Watchers. They have a new point system and I actually think this is a bit better. My points are already banked for me to use, I just have to eat a minimum number of points. I actually can’t get into the WW site, how weird. I need to log the junk food I ate!
I’ve decided to keep my forum for a while and see what interest it generates. Feel free to spread the word. The forum is here. I’ve been wandering Yahoo Groups again. This is very dangerous as I tend to join a bunch of groups then leave after I find they’re not for me. The ones I stay in are usually ones that provide me with information. I am attempting to whittle down my groups though as the forum I created when it gets up and going should do everything I need it to.
My computer is having fits. I’m going to die fits. I panic everytime I hear a noise, I’m afraid it will just crash and burn. I spent yesterday backing up my hard drive just in case.
The only other news is my step-grandmother has been in the hospital. She had a heart attack and a stroke at the same time. It’s not looking very good.
I must be going to bed now. See ya’ll later!
